Rise and Grind; Port Eliot wedding breakfast

9th September 2019; OH our first Wedding breakfast, we have been so excited and it was out first opportunity to add all our extra accessories and wedding DIY to make sure our beautiful little caravan was fit to attend a Wedding!

We also had a new menu on offer, as supplying the wedding breakfast for all the wedding guests that had stayed over camping from the night before, and we were confident some caffeine and a bacon or sausage bap would be just what these hungry customers would be needing!

It was our first event with a breakfast menu, and had many new hurdles to overcome including cooking food on the van, ensuring we are as quick as possible to get food out to customers and prevent them from waiting! Initially we had some issues with the power supply, which prevented the griddle and coffee machine from heating up. This caused a back up of orders, and having to remain calm and professional. Put us under pressure, but we took everyone's names and orders, and once the power had been sorted started to get back on track. So much fun, and once we had got on top of our orders we had a good pace to produce some delicious food. We had spent ages sourcing the right products and ingredients to make sure we offered quality!

Everyone had been fed, and had some lovely feedback on our menu. Such a gorgeous location in Port Eliot estate where the wedding had been held, overlooking the river with hay bails, teepees, flowers and candles. So stunning, and we wish the new Mr and Mrs a very happy future together. We hope to have some more weddings to be a part of for the remainder of 2018 and 2019!
