28th August 2018; Time for Cornwall Pride in Newquay ! We decided to take the drive down on Friday to make sure we didn't hit the Bank Holiday traffic! Drive was fine, and we found a campsite near to the event and set up for the night. Making sure we had a comfortable nights sleep, and headed to a little beach bar for a drink and some food. The following day we got up at 6am ready to drive down to the centre of Newquay, Molly stayed to set up the van and I went to the supermarket for the remainder of the food. A venue right by the sea, on such a stunning day, what more could we ask for....
We had a busy and productive day, another colourful and vibrant event with so many amazing people! Everyone had been in great spirits, the weather was glorious and had some fabulous entertainment all day and early evening. Stall holders, street food catering vans and a mobile bar. Lots of hot and cold drinks sold all day, and our Nachos flew out the door! We have now got into the rhythm of the production of each menu item, and drink and know how to work around each other in such a small space.
Met lots of fun loving people, enjoyed some sunshine and spent the evening with friends at the campsite and drinks at the beach before bed and a drive home! Tiring and wonderful weekend all at once.
